Print That Goes the Distance - In Size and Durability

Wide format printing covers everything from A0 posters to multi metre wall murals, pull-up banners to corflute site signs. The challenge is producing output that doesn't look pixelated at close range, holds colour in Brisbane's UV environment, and is finished on the right substrate for how it will actually be used.

Signsmith prints in house on a professional wide-format printer capable of up to 1440 DPI output. Every job goes through a colour-managed workflow, what you see on screen is what comes off the printer. Canvas Prints

From concept to completion, we handle every detail of your wide format printing project.

Artwork Submission or Design

Supply your print-ready file (PDF, AI, EPS at correct dimensions and resolution) or engage our in-house design team. We'll check your files for resolution and colour profile before production.

Substrate Selection

We advise on the right material for your application outdoor/indoor, short-term/long-term, required finish (matte, gloss, satin). Different environments and uses require different substrates.

Print & Finish

Colour-managed production on our wide-format printer. Finishing includes lamination, trimming, hemming, eyeletting, mounting or grommeting depending on the product.

Collection or Delivery

Same day and next day turnaround available for urgent jobs. Standard turnaround is 2–3 business days. Delivery available across Brisbane.

File Requirements & Getting the Best Print Results

The most common cause of disappointing print results is low-resolution artwork. For wide format printing, files should be supplied at a minimum of 100 DPI at final print size (150 DPI preferred). Logos and text should be supplied as vector (AI, EPS or PDF with outlined fonts) to remain sharp at any size.

If you're not sure whether your files are suitable, send them to us for a free pre-flight check before committing to a print run. We'd rather catch a problem at proof stage than after the job is on the press.
